Andrea Potter

Instructor-bio-andreaFor as long as she can remember, Andrea has turned to cooking to nourish her community and herself.  She learned to cook and bake the basics when she was quite young, and it was her way of supporting her busy family.  After time spent in Europe as an exchange student to learn about culture, french language and of course, food, she followed this path through the culinary arts program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She learned how to work efficiently and how to get creative with what is available. Above all, she learned by watching the chefs and the cooks who trained her. Today, Andrea is the founder of Vancouver’s Rooted Nutrition, creating a secure and nourished community by encouraging healthy food choices.
